You may not modify, copy, resell, or distribute any portion of the software.
2. Data Ownership & Security

All accreditation materials, policies, and documentation uploaded remain the property of your department.

Badge 6 employs industry-standard security measures, including encryption and multi-factor authentication, to protect data. However, users must also maintain proper cybersecurity practices to prevent unauthorized access.

Badge 6 is not responsible for data breaches, unauthorized access, or security incidents originating from a user’s network, personnel, or third-party integrations.
3. Limitations of Liability

Badge 6 provides AI-powered compliance assistance as a tool; final accreditation compliance decisions remain the responsibility of the department.

The software is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. Badge 6 shall not be liable for any accreditation outcomes, policy interpretations, or legal actions resulting from the use of this software.
4. Account Suspension & Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for non-compliance with these terms, unauthorized access attempts, or misuse of the platform.

Badge 6 reserves the right to update or modify these terms, with continued use of the software indicating acceptance of any changes.

3. Data Security & Retention

All department data remains fully owned and controlled by the department. Badge 6 does not retain, analyze, or use department data beyond providing software functionality.

Data is encrypted both at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption protocols.

Upon contract termination, all data is permanently removed from the platform within 30 days, unless legally required to be retained by the department.
4. User Control & Access

Departments determine which users have access to their data and may modify or delete information at any time.

Departments can export all stored accreditation materials and policies at their discretion.

Badge 6 does not share, sell, or distribute any user or department data to third parties.
5. Third-Party Services & Integrations

Badge 6 may provide optional integrations with external services, but all connections require explicit department authorization.

Any third-party services linked through Badge 6 are subject to their own privacy policies and do not impact Badge 6 security measures.
